AI contract review
Counsl's AI contract review reads your whole agreement, flags the clauses that shift risk onto you, and tells you what to ask for instead. Each finding quotes the exact wording, so you can check every point yourself in seconds.
Use it to triage incoming contracts, prepare for a negotiation, or check a counterparty's redline before you accept it.
What AI contract review does
Traditional contract review means reading every clause, comparing it with what is normal, and writing down what to push back on. Counsl does that first pass for you. It identifies the agreement type and parties, extracts the key commercial terms, grades each risk as high, medium or worth reviewing, and gives an overall 0-100 risk score.
For each flagged clause you get a short explanation of why it matters and balanced replacement wording you can paste into your redline.

When to use AI contract review - and when not to
AI review is best as the first step: sorting standard contracts from unusual ones, spotting the handful of clauses worth negotiating, and making sure nothing is missed under time pressure. It is not a substitute for legal advice on a high-stakes deal, a dispute, or a jurisdiction-specific question. In those cases, bring the Counsl report to your lawyer - it will make the conversation faster.
Your documents stay in your private workspace. Nothing is shared unless you choose to share it.
